I am Dikla, founder of Orion AI Pro and a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in engineering and management.
But above all, I am a dreamer and a problem solver dedicated to leveraging technology for good.
My journey with Orion began with hesitant first steps toward a vision that initially felt far too big – yet was rooted in a very real, human need. Today, it has evolved into a practical solution designed to improve everyday lives.
How did your company come about and what was the motivation behind it?
The motivation behind Orion AI Pro is deeply personal.
It began when my father, who at 85 was CEO and owner of 3 large companies, suffered a stroke.
Overnight, the most independent person I knew lost his speech and mobility, requiring constant support. A year later, after he passed away, my mother faced her own quiet struggle – navigating life alone after decades of partnership, trying to adapt to a world increasingly driven by technology.
Supporting them both made me realize how overwhelming daily life can be when independence fades. I saw firsthand what they truly needed: practical tech help, gentle risk monitoring that respects privacy, accessible AI that doesn’t require typing on a tiny screen, and above all, meaningful connection to ease the weight of loneliness.
Experiencing this made me think of the millions who don’t have family nearby to guide them. I founded Orion AI Pro to bridge that gap – building technology that acts as a supportive, respectful companion for anyone navigating life on their own

Our immediate mission is to ensure no one has to age alone in an increasingly connected world, providing solitary older adults with a supportive, intuitive companion.
